RSL Group's journey began in 1946 with the establishment of Refrigeration Spares by the Cherrill family. From its origins as a local supplier, the company rapidly evolved, becoming a key provider of comprehensive refrigeration and cooling solutions, backed by essential technical support.
This growth was strategically fuelled by key expansions, including the opening of a vital branch in London. Further expansion was driven by Gerry McDonagh, a respected figure within the refrigeration industry, who spearheaded the creation of RSL Ireland and RPL Belfast, extending the company's footprint. These strategic moves solidified RSL's position as a prominent player in the refrigeration sector.
In a pivotal development in 2024, IPCOM acquired RSL Group. This acquisition was driven by IPCOM's recognition of RSL's profound technical expertise, its established engineering capabilities, and its dedication to delivering top-tier customer service. This alignment perfectly complements IPCOM's own strategic focus on the distribution and fabrication of tailored, energy-efficient solutions.
